Our History

The ENL Group, founded by the Gamble family, has a rich heritage of engineering that traces back to the 1860s. We are very proud to be a part of British industry for over 150 years, with over 80 years of manufacturing for Aerospace.

ENL has continually evolved, expanding its capabilities to meet the changing needs of our customers. Composite Autoclave

1.6m dia x 3m Aerospace spec composite autoclave 10 bar. Operating temp up to 250c for producing complex carbon fibre components

Production Space

Large, clean composite production space for layup and assembly of structures/components

Supply Chain

Trusted supply chain to source any other machining/component requirement to integrate into large, complex assemblies

Curing Oven

3m x 3mx 2m high temperature curing oven for out of autoclave processing of pre-pregs under vacuum and post cures

CNC Machining

3-Axis CNC machining for production of direct mould tools/patterns/trimming of components/jigs/non-ferrous metals

Painting

4 x Paint and prep booths - offering high-spec finishes and coatings. Specialising in visual carbon, as well as polymers and metallics.

Walk in Freezer

Large walk in freezer for pre-preg storage, most common pre-pregs stocked

Full Logging

Full environmental logging for complete traceability of all procedures

Assembly

Dedicated assembly area capable of handling large complex assemblies with bonding
